POLYBUILD PROJECT
Building a better tommorrow from yesterdays waste
Our planet is drowning in a sea of plastic, killing wildlife and destroying habitats.
Lately, mountains of waste plastic are accumulating with no destination in sight.
Our purpose is to roll back those two trends and channel this vast quantity of choking rubbish into universally useful products.
Using already established technology, we can create long life, weather resistant, low cost construction components. A major component of this material is low grade plastic, which currently cannot be recycled.
Any waste, off cuts or broken items made from the composite material can be reprocessed and manufactured into new products repeatedly.
The concept has been in use in the eastern block and third world countries for many years but has only recently started to penetrate into the western world as roofing and paving systems.
We are a group of innovators dedicated to creating an afterlife for plastics within a circular economy.
We are already aware that there is demand for this material from innovators outside of our group that have contacted us. Along with offering support to these entrepreneurs Polybuild has taken it to a whole new level with the design of a monolithic block and construction system that can revolutionise house building here. This system will reduce both the cost and time of construction.
The Process
Existing installations are very much on a cottage industry scale and we will be starting out with a small micro factory making samples to
· Have the composite material formally appraised.
· Have the initial Products appraised and approved for Construction.
· Have the construction system approved.
These tests will include tensile strength, UV resistance, overall durability along with Fire and Earthquake performance as well as a host of others.
We will also along with our partners be designing a production system to allow manufacturing on an industrial scale allowing factories to be built throughout the regions.
